Welcome to my Transit camper. It is the 100phb TURBO Diesel 2.5. LWB High top, And is not sluggish like the standard transit. It will keep up with most cars off the traffic lights, and will clime hills with ease as the engine does not have to work as hard and a lot less gear chaining. But its not diesel hungry and returns about 28 to 30 mpg the same as most low powered transits.
Transit is in very good condition and has the normal one or two dinks and scratches, Also has the start of a rust bubble on the arches. But nothing major. It is two birth with slide out double bed. Fridge, two burner hob, Micro wave, Hot & cold running water.
There is so much to say about this Camper, I don’t know where to start.
Just had a brand new tow bar with step fitted. It has an Eberspatcher water heater under the bonnet, It heats the hot water and radiator in the rear. It also heats the water through the engine so you never have a cold engine start in the winter. The engine heats the water when the van is on the move and takes about 10 to 15 minutes to come up to temperature. It can be set (when its to temp) to turn on the heater fan in dashboard to blow hot air around the front of the van, Also turns a fan on in the rear of van behind the rear radiator and blows hot air around. Both fans can be turned off independently. The water in the tapes are pumped out by a Fiemma high pressure pump which cost me £145. On its own.
There are no seat belts in the rear at the present, but could be put in as the bolt holes are there. The floor is laminated for ease of cleaning. All doors and locks work fine.
The front seats are in good condition with next to no wear. Drives seat is the pilot type with arm rests. The table in rear just unplugs from the floor to allow the bed to slid out.
